About this notice
This notice applies to Enzyme Labs websites, software, and related services, including Margins. A feature may also provide a notice at the moment it asks for information or connects to another service.
Our products are designed so that working files and indexes remain local by default. Information is sent elsewhere only when a hosted function requires it, when you connect a third-party service, or when you direct the software to use an external provider.

Information we process
Information you provide
Contact details, account information, messages you send us, and billing status when applicable.
Operate the service, respond to requests, maintain accounts, and provide support.
Website and service data
IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and similar request information.
Deliver, secure, maintain, and understand the performance of our website and hosted services.
Connected-service data
Information from a third-party service only after you authorize the connection.
Provide the features you request. Google Workspace access is described separately below.
Provider-directed content
Relevant excerpts sent when you choose to use a feature backed by an external provider.
Complete the specific provider-backed action you initiate, under that provider’s terms.
03 / Connected services
Google Workspace data
Connecting a Google account is optional. If you approve a connection, the software requests read-only access to the categories below. It cannot send or delete email, change calendar events, or edit, move, share, or delete Drive files and Docs.
Gmail
Messages, threads, participants, dates, and related metadata
Retrieve and organize information inside the software in response to actions you take.
Google Calendar
Calendars and event details, including titles, times, and attendees
Retrieve and associate event information with the material you ask the software to use.
Google Drive and Docs
Relevant file metadata and document content
Find and import files or documents you ask the software to use.
Technical scope disclosure
The current connection requests identity access through
openid and userinfo.email, together with
gmail.readonly, calendar.readonly,
drive.readonly, and documents.readonly.
04 / Handling
Storage, transfer, and use
Stored locally
Google credentials are kept in local credential storage. Imported items, connector history, and search indexes are kept in the local workspace you choose. The current Google connection does not route credentials or retrieved Workspace data through Enzyme Labs servers.
Shared only for a requested action
Connecting Google does not itself send Workspace content to an AI provider. When you initiate an action that uses a provider, relevant excerpts may be sent to the provider you selected under that provider’s terms.
Not sold or used for advertising
We do not sell Google Workspace data, use it for advertising, or use it to train Enzyme Labs models.
Google API Limited Use
Enzyme Labs’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
05 / Choices
Access and deletion
Stop future Google access
Run margins disconnect google or revoke access from your
Google Account. This removes the saved authorization and stops future
access.
Remove imported copies
Disconnecting does not erase material already imported. Delete
the .margins/integrations and
.margins/recall folders in the applicable workspace to
remove imported records and the local search index. This clears data
from every connector in that workspace.
